The Legend of Butter
The picture to the right is my latest painting called 'The Legend of Butter'. This painting is essentially one big inside
joke, a portrait of a friend named Brad. You don't see many smoking jacket clad, pipe smoking, portraits anymore and this
seemed to compliment Brad's persona. I always strive to have a satirical edge in my paintings, even if they're painted traditionally
as this one is. This fits Brad for so many reasons and one day I will dedicate an entire blog to his escapades. For now, he
will have to live on in this painting. My hope is that one hundred years from now, academics will waste an enormous amount
of time researching the origins of the man in the painting. Students will write papers, teachers will show slides of it, and
everyone will project meaning far above it's intent. I think that's the real artisitic goal of this piece. Hope you find some
joy in it. Adam

Album
Recording an album is a tough thing, especially when you have to balance that with work, family, and life in general. I'm
still working, slowly but surely. I'm hoping to have some songs ready soon, but I make no promises. I'm reminded of the legends
of writers and painters that worked on one piece of art for their entire lives. I'm hoping that is not the case for me, but
I'm starting to realize how they do it.

What's Going On
I haven't done a good job of updating my website, but I've been working hard. Currently I'm working
on and recording new music both in my home studio and at audioconfusion recording studio. I've created some music for the
film One Foot in the Gutter that should be out later this year. I've been doing a lot of design recently which I'll
post to this site once I do yet another site redesign. What can I say, I get bored easily. Totes magotes! Adam
